This hand carved instrument has a granulated solid spruce top, solid maple back and sides, ebony fingerboards and pegs and a maple bridge. All of our violas are delivered to you with the following processes being performed: Bridge is trimmed and installed; Soundpost checked and adjusted if necessary; Instrument tuned for the first time; Instrument played on for ten minutes to allow tension on the strings to adjust; Instrument receives the final tuning an hour later after strings have stretched; Instrument wiped down and polished.
